Nor does it suck horribly. However, I've not tried getting screencaps from anything with soft subs on it, yet, since I tend to need my pictures lacking subtitles, so your milage may vary. (I do know that it will take some practice, but I don't think 'needs some practice to use well' is quite enough to make it suck horribly.)
